Emily throwing shade

Here at Browjam, we offer a wide range of treatments but we are known for creating game-changing fluffy brows by perfecting hair strokes using microblading. Our goal is to give everyone the most beautiful brows, but beauty is subjective and the detailed hairstroke look isn’t for everyone. It’s also not suitable for all skin types. This is why we work with others who are the best in the business at what they do, so we can keep learning and growing.

Recently we sent Emily out to continue her professional development with Scott Triggs from Cosmedic FX, an expert with over 15 years of experience in creating outstanding experiences and results for his clients using cosmetic tattooing. Whether it be areolas, vitiligo, lips, eyeliner or brows, clinical or cosmetic, Scott has done it all, and often with life-changing results. What better teacher for Emily to learn the art of the machine?

Emily attended a Cosmedic FX Microblading to Machine conversion course to learn how to supplement the knowledge and experience she has with the blade by using the machine to create a semi-permanent shaded brow effect.

As well as excellent teaching and hilarious banter, this course gave Emily valuable insights into how to build up pigment depending on the client’s ideal look and different ways to do this to provide emphasis in different areas of the brow. As a result, Emily is now able to offer a wider variety of treatments for all different looks, styles and skin types.

If you feel like you still need to tint often, even after microblading, then a combination brow may be ideal. This approach adds a few layers of machine shading to complement your finely crafted hair strokes.

Alternatively, a barely-there brow is perfect for people who are happy with their brow hair colour but want that soft, powdered look without having to sit in front of the mirror every day to apply it. Adding fewer layers will give your brows a slight shading meaning they will be dark enough to take away the need to tint but subtle enough to still allow your natural hairs to shine through.

Finally, the full Ombré powder brow. This will give you a defined brow contour with a powder finish. Ideal for people with oily skin for whom microblading isn’t going to be suitable. This will give you extra definition without the hassle and will mean you have brows that look velvety soft for a year or more.

Emily can now offer the full range of treatments discussed above, joining Robyn and Janine in the studio. We have an introductory offer of £150 for Ombré powder brows with Emily through September – if you are happy to have your photo taken then get in touch here to book!
