One-to-one training mentorship Enquire

After your beginners course, it is every student’s responsibility to continue to practice and improve their new skill.  However you may become a little bored of producing the beginners patterns and although they can be adapted to suit everyone there’s so many more styles and textures that can be created. Janine has created this 2-day course to focus on perfecting multiple advanced, natural, intuitive brow patterns, mastering  the 4 key factors that are geared to achieving thin and clear healed micro-strokes that have you thinking outside the box. We cover the perfect use of negative space between strokes and manual shading to create Volume and texture giving the ultimate combination brows. We show you a 1 pass method on the ideal skin type that can cut your treatment time right down.

Advanced airy and natural patterns

Most Microblading beginners are taught basic brow patterns that can be adapted to suit all brows. The patterns and the strokes can be quite regimented and structured in the sense that we build lots of strokes so they hug and hold the new brow shape in place resulting in compact and not so realistic looking brows. Brow trends these days are natural, fluffy and unkept. With these advanced airy style patterns Browjam has created, we can cover all styles. We teach you how to really detail the brow to give it natural flaws and super realistic looking brows. We will show you  how to work  outside your pre drawn shape to give the perfectly imperfect natural brows.

On this course students will learn all about the creation of hair interlacing and weaving using different spines and stoke combinations and connections. Upon the completion of this course, students will easily be able to make beautiful patterns of hair interlacing and learn how to use different techniques for creating a visual volume on eyebrows.

Knowledge of the skin is key in getting optimum healed results along with Learning the ideal bend, thickness, depth of pigment application, perfect angle and speed of the hand. We will show you how to create beautiful brows that come back amazingly healed by causing less trauma to the skin. In most beginner Microblading courses we are taught to make a pass and then fill the stroke until it’s packed with pigment. It’s important to fill strokes in the beginning until you get your pressure right and insure they come back with pigment in them but as you advance your skill, pressure and knowledge it’s very possible to achieve clear strokes with maximum colour retention in just 1 pass. We show students the tricks of the trades and tools to achieve this.

Soft shading

By incorporating soft shading you can soften this join and have the microstrokes look more dense and volumised. Manual shading is amazing for softly shading key areas where you want more definition or density, such as the arch and tail or the spine of the brow where the upper strokes and lower strokes meet. Shading is key when you're doing cover ups too as Microblading strokes aren’t dense enough to hide blue or red background of old Spmu. Pigment on latex will let us practice the art of shading. You will practice the technique and create the soft shading and dotting pixel effect. The tool and pigment on latex will allow us to check your pressure and make sure you're not overdoing the shading.
